Ping.FM is a good services to publish stuff to social networks. Unfortunately, from last year, they are no long accepting any new API key requests which is require to work with Ping.FM from remote App, such as Ping.FM add-on for obSocialSubmit Joomla extension.
A half of year ago, we had a post with a tip to post to Ping.FM via email, but it is now no longer work.

So, Does Ping.FM add-on for obSocialSubmit Joomla extension useless?
NO, it still works and useful.
We have just release 1.9 version of this cool external add-on, it works even if you have no API Key. The only thing you need is Application Key, which can be found at: http://ping.fm/key/, everyone can has it, thanks God. Of course, you need a Ping.FM account to get that key.

obHelpDesk - one of the most popular Joomla Help Desk extension - now comes up with lots of killer features.
After months of hard working, foobla is now proud to annouce that obHelpDesk 2.3 released which brings it to a higher level of a Help Desk system.
We see no reason to refresh the browser when a new reply posted. AJAX Reply made the reply stuff more interesting and save the precious time of users.

On the previous releases, we use only TinyMCE Editor. To offer more option, we added BBCode Editor to this Joomla Help Desk extension, which easier for user to add image, link, quote to the ticket/reply.
If you have some uncommon customers which need special care, you can assign those customers to some specific staff. And those staff will be noticed for every new ticket from those uncommon customers.

As an administrator, you will need a powerful reports system with visual graphic charts as well as a table list for plenty of data. I.e: open tickets, overdue tickets, spent time,...
Your staff are no longer go there and there to collect customer information, with this brilliant plugins system, they can easy to see if the customer is paid member or not, how many purchase order they placed, does it expired or not,... with wide range of 3rd party support, ie: VirtueMart, AEC, Ambra Subscriptions, ...
People normally using a Help Desk extension with some system running behind, can be MantisBT, JIRA, redmine, BugZilla,... By one or few click, you can send a ticket to your 3rd party system immediately.
Normally, when trying to response a ticket, you will probably want to look around to see some more useful information in this ticket. For example: how many tickets does this customer has? where he/she is? Notes from you or your other staff? This area will offer plenty of kinda useful information.
