Many people who using Joomla RSS Feed Creator extension asked me: How to remove/disable default RSS Feed & Atom Feed in Joomla? which display in the address bar while it should be removed.
When we use 3rd party extension for RSS Syndicate, two default feeds are useless and need to be disabled.
It's about menu configuration. Here is step-by-step:
1/ Go to Joomla Backend > Menus > Main Menu
2/ For example, we need to get rid of default RSS Feeds in the home page > click on Home.
On the right side, we can see: Parameters (Advanced) box. Turn off "Show a Feed Link" and Save/Apply.
3/ Repeat the previous step for another menu items.
We have disabled Joomla default RSS Feeds now.
