Answer

Recently, obSocialSubmit can't send to Twitter, the details of error message is:

"Could not connect to Twitter. Refresh the page or try again later."

Reasons:

  • Default Consumer Key & Consumer Secret are not correct.
  • Consumer Key & Consumer Secret are from a suspended Twitter application.
Solutions:
  • Very simple, just use a valid Twitter application. If you don't have any, just create a new one

It is connecting to Facebook. You want to check out the backend?

I have the same problem, over and over again, register application for 5 times... always the same message... maybe you can explain better how to register/setup the twitter application.

Looks like it, I have not created an article yet but obsocialsub was able to get my account info from twitter so I think it is working. :)

really the twitter directions would benefit from some screen captures. it was a very frustrating process due to lack of instructions from foobla.

I had the same problem. As Dubinsky mentions, you have to specify "Browser" under "Application Type" in your Twitter App settings, and enter a "Callback URL." I don't think the value for "Callback URL" is important, as obSocialSubmit overrides it.
