After great success in May 2010 with an attendance of more than 450 participants, the organizers of Meet Magento invite you join them November 4-5 at the Technology Center “GaraGe” in Leipzig, Germany.  There will be a Conference Committee that ensures the quality of topics and benefits from the specific knowledge of experts.

For “Meet Magento # 4.10”, attendees can expect to hear from CEO Roy Rubin, President Bob Schwartz and CTO Yoav Kutner. Along with Bob Schwartz, the blogger and e-commerce specialist Jochen Krisch and Magento developer and coach Vinai Koop are also members of the Conference Committee and are now responsible for the high level of topics.

The Magento Business Forum has developed into a key element for the Meet Magento Conference. In addition to specific industry topics, there will be case studies presented on successful implementation of online shops. Another event highlight is the After Show Party on the first day of the event - the perfect celebration for interesting discussions and networking.

We are happy to announce the availability of Magento Preview Version 1.4.2.0-beta1 for download.

As this is a preview version it is NOT recommended in any way to be used in a production environment (more information about preview releases and the new community edition release process can be found in this blog post). This release is NOT available for upgrade through Magento Connect Manager and is only available on our download page.

This release includes the new Magento Connect Manager (MCM) and allows the community to start testing the new MCM and Magento Connect 2.
