Overview

Joomla Social Submit is all you need to publish your Joomla contents (K2, FLEXIcontent, DocMan, VirtueMart, Eventlist, ... it's extendable) to social networks (Twitter, Facebook, Google Buzz, Ping.fm, ... it's extendable too).

Social Media Marketing is now easier with this automated Joomla extension. Just set it up only one time, and forget it then.

this extension offers the ability to harness the power of social networks in order to push content from my website to the networks automatically. this means that I save a load to time having to manually update my social networks... and it means that my content goes viral automatically. I can use the power of social networks to bring people to my site and all I have to do is work on my site... i now no longer have to bother updating all the different sites manually... I couldn't be more happy. the extension is easy to use and the support is very helpful... they got back to me almost immediately when i had a query. I'll admit that at 140 euros (inc the add-ons i wanted) it isn't exactly cheap... but in my opinion it's worth every penny because of the time I'll save having to manually do this work. that really is what makes it worth it.

This plugin works very well (using it under Joomla 1.7). Using it for Facebook and Twitter. Had a few issues with a new server, and the support was always very prompt and very helpful in sorting out the problem, which appeared to be a missing module installation on the server. Defiantly a recommendation!

If you are reading this then you agree with me that these days having a presence on social sites such as Facebook and Twitter is important.. And using obSocialSubmit I did that. I managed to auto-post content from my site (joomla content, kunena, mtree, sobi2) to Facebook & Twitter. Simple & easy to use component, and the support is excellent. They replied all my support tickets in less than 24h, created 2 custom add-ons for me, and updated 4 add-ons to run on my site. Thank you for making my site more social :)

A BIG thank you!!!! After a couple of teething issue which the team sorted out straight away. I asked if it would be possible for the mtree addon to post to our social networks from the front end. The team changed the addon straight away and now every time a customer updates their listing everyone knows about it. Perhaps a bit of background of myself, i have no feeling with computer programming, i do know how to work with Joomla but don't ask me stuff about html or php because i've got no answer for it. What i wanted was simple, a tool to automaticly post our scouting articles we create on facebook twitter and hyves and with only the press of a button. With obSocialSubmit you have it all, in just 1 tool.I had it installed within a minute, and the configuring took me about 10 minutes and then it was working for all my social media feeds. With this solution i don't have to go to all the seperate social media sites again. It saves me time, and also for the other scouts that are running the website it is really easy to keep your socials feeds up to date.Also with the extended FAQ they have on their website, if you run into a problem you can find it there. And if it's not there just send the programmers a question. What i've noticed they respond really fast and allways with a nice and helpfull answer. If you are looking for a really easy way to keep your social feeds up to date with only maintaining your website, obSocialSubmit is the tool your need.

Very Good Facebook Publishin

I was desperately searching a Facebook Publishing extension which can post the latest activities in our site to our FB Page, not to the user's profile wall..I was about to give up searching but then I discovered obSocialSubmit..This was exactly what I wanted.When I first installed this extension, it worked just like it was marketed, it was doing what it was supposed to do.However I needed some extra customizations, like inserting the first picture in the entry as a thumbnail in FB posting, not just the link. Foobla engineers made the necessary customizations in a timely manner for a reasonable fee.Then I needed this functionality for various extension which were not in their portfolio. They wrote add-ons for every extension I have requested. There were problems down the road, but they have fixed it..Their support is dedicated, they don't delay responding your tickets. Most of the time I got response to my ticket just the next day which is inevitable because of the time difference.My only suggestion would be the ability to opt-out publishing to FB..Not all site activities are required to be published to FB. It would be good to have dialog box with a check button for choosing not to send to FB.If you want to connect your FB Page to your site automatically this the extension you need.

This is a very good component. The service received from these guys is second to none. I have just started a gaming website and being able to auto-post new content and uploaded videos directly to facebook and twitter, is fantastic. I read below someone say it was a little pricey. I totally disagree. The amount of time this component saves me, will pay for itself 10 fold.Highly recommended!

Extraordinary system that you can not leave to use, easy to install and excellent technical support in case you can not do it by your self, also if you need a custom add-on, they do it for you . . . what else can I say! its the best!

I have registered just to comment for this component.first thing to notice is good customer service(got instant replies even on weekend)Second point to consider will be good package of code. Work like charm!! does exactly what it says.finally yep it is worth the money (instead of paying a staff to take care of social media stuff we can use this component)

Absolutley sensational!! If you have a website as well as a facebook page, then obSocialSubmit is a must have! It's quick and easy to install and everytime you publish an article on your website, this clever little plugin automatically publishes the title, article thumbnail, a short intro to the article, and a link back to your website for the full article - on your personal or organisations facebook page!! If this sounds like what you are looking for - you won't be dissapointed.

It was a challenge - the publication of articles from my site in social networks. In Twitter, Facebook and so on. Planned to hire a person who has published news on social networks. But I decided to search the internet and found a wonderful component obSocialSubmit. Now I have all the social networks I am. This is a fantastic component that does exactly what it says, and works out the box with pretty much no tweaking required. Support is excellent. The product manager added me on Skype and answered all my stupid questions.It should be noted that the only features you get out the box are for regular Joomla articles and for Twitter, and the rest of the addons need to be bought separately, either individually or in a package. I must say that it is completely worth it, however.I am using this component in conjuction with JFB Connect, and there is no conflict that I have encountered between the two, and in fact, they complement eachother perfectly.Overall, this is probably one of the best commercial components I have paid for.

A user of my own component (SermonSpeaker) bought this component and let them built an AddOn for SermonSpeaker as a custom work. He then asked me to improve the AddOn even further. After looking at this code I was impressed and bought the component myself, using it to post new sermons to the churchs Facebook page.The component is written very well and works reliable. The devs respond in time and are helpful.The extension is also under active development and the devs have good ideas on how to improve it.Definitively worth the money it costs.

The code looks well documented, and well supported. I purchased and installed this extension on a Saturday and had a server error. I received technical support within 2 hours after I placed a ticket! We chatted via Googletalk and Thong found some permissions problems (no fault of obSocialSubmit) and fixed them. The extension works great and the directions include links that you need to set up your connection with the social sites. Outstanding all around!

I purchased this extension after reading some of the brilliant reviews it was getting on JED, and now I'm back to give one of them myself!I will say that for me, installation was not as straightforward as normal, mainly down to a permissions error that I couldn't seem to nail down. That being said, a quick email to their support resolved the issue, which I must say is mainly down to my server config.As part of my purchase they offered to create a free addon for the product and I requested one for the popular Autostand component. It was delivered within hours, although I assume they had already made it, and after following their youtube tutorial I had auto posting to twitter running within minutes.So far it has worked flawlessly and I tip my cap to the developers for creating this brilliant extension.

This is pretty good component, works with very little adjustments. Support answers tickets with in couple of hours. The Developers willingness to do custom work in enabling other components is a big plus.

What can I say? I love this guy! Not only did he develop a fantastic tool, but his support is literally second to none. He responds to tickets within minutes and was on my website within 10 minutes to fix, what turned out to be all of my mistakes. He is a rock star and the best developer I have worked with to date. Hello everyone,Well after i purchased this Component and i tested it i had to register in JED to make this particular review. I will make my reviewin topics...:D1. I tried at least six other extensions CLAMING to be "posting automaticaly" on social networks, i always got frustrated at some point, either they dont post correctly, or only common page in case of faceebook instead of also in personalized pages, or only facebook or only twitter etc etc. This was trully the first extension that made what it promised to do.2. Configuration its pretty straith foward, u just need to create the respective applications in the posting platforms (facebook, twitter, myspace, etc) and the rest is even easier.3. After all that it's heaven, no more double triple or even quadruple posts your joomla propagates instantly all articles created to the respective social network ALL OF THEM at once of you wish it to.4. If you need a simple tool to propagate your material to ALL social networks with little effort, look no more, this is your answer.This was by far the best investiment i have made since i use Joomla.Thank You OB Team

This is simply a transparent review. I am not in the business of recommending products, bu I do believe in sharing knowledge. Here are the elements: - A full evaluation of the extension: I have bought this component with all of its plugins, internal and External ones. It is simply excellent. It works and deliver its purpose. I do understand why there aren't many reviews here, it is because you have to buy it to able to access it. From what I have seen, it broadcasts everything as soon as it is made. The nice thing in it is that you can configure it to broadcast as you like, "i.e. New items, modified items." It has built in functions to include URL shortener. Ease of usage and deployment: All you need is make you api's across those you want to broadcast to, and your in business. after I bought by a couple of days, I was given an upgrade for one of the plugins. I do believe they are a determined team. Level of support received: The support is decent, and genuine. sometimes you are answered within hours, and if not, next-day you get your support depending on location and time variance!. So they are really good compared to others. - Courtesy and Honesty: They are very decent team. - Pros & Cons of the extension and its performance: The extension is really good, and I believe it the best one out there. I had inquired about having a plugin for JoomFish, I was told it is coming out soon; so they are developing more than what they have already. Purpose of using the extension: I use this extension to update other social networks of our web updates and new items. Nice broadcasting to keep everyone everywhere well informed. Level of difficulty: Not difficult at all, It is extremely easy. This is the best money spent, and I truly recommend it to everyone. This is just what we all need! I dont understand how i could live without this. It does it all! Some issues with the pluging for facebook, but the service and support was excelent. Fast feedback and i was up and running in no time. Great!

This extension does exactly what it promises. It 's easy to install and if there are any problems, the service is excellent. I also bought the addon for Virtuemart and that's exactly what I needed for my site. Now the Facebook page of my shop is updated automatically whenever a new product is published on the site. truly a great extension. I had this setup in only a few minutes. The support team at foobla are outstanding. They went above and beyond to help me, even staying with me on IM support at midnight. I had a few feature suggestions, and they were implemented quickly. Another extension from foobla, and as before I am more than pleased with it. Not only does it exactly what it says with ease, it was also a breeze to install and configure. But the most important part for me, the outstanding support you are getting. Replys are verry fast and competent.
